Jill Cox

I spent many months learning yoga and meditation in India yet the reality at home: social norms, busying, emotional ups and downs, young children, domesticity and work took priority and over time these practices felt separate from my day-to-day activities. I found the mindfulness practices offered by Living Mindfully refreshing and nourishing. They have shown me realistic ways to bring mindfulness into all aspects of my life. It’s a breath of fresh air and pleasure to practice acceptance, non judgement and a beginner's mind especially in a world which bombards us with the opposite.

I am delighted to be working with Living Mindfully to practice and share these essential life skills. I am currently assisting on the MBSR courses, I will complete a Teacher Development Retreat at Bangor University, Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice in January 2011. I am also in my first year of Iyengar Yoga teacher training.
